I am Dr. Neus Carrió and I am an expert in periodontics, with a master’s degree in this specialty. In addition, I am very involved in teaching in this field, collaborating as a professor of the Degree, Master and Clinical Residency in Periodontology at the UIC. I am also part of the Editorial Committee of the scientific journal: Periodoncia Clínica.
Periodontics is a branch of dentistry dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases.
The fragmentation of dentistry has been a revolution for professionals, inviting us to specialize and collaborate in the same work team. Thanks to this interdisciplinary approach, we achieve excellent results in our field.
The greatest passion of my specialty is knowing that the daily clinical work is supported by previous scientific work, involving groups of researchers and technologies with a common goal. This fact implies being up to date and in constant training to improve the oral health of our patients.
