I am Dr. Orwah Abboud and I am responsible for the orthodontic area at Puyuelo Dental Clinic. I am passionate about this specialty because it allows me to study the pathologies of patients in a global way, integrating the other specialties of dentistry and thus being able to present multidisciplinary treatment plans taking care of every last detail.
Each case is a daily professional challenge that is maintained throughout the treatment and allows me to establish a close relationship with the patient. A bond is created that prevents us from forgetting that we are treating people and not just their teeth.
Fortunately we work in an era characterized by constant technological advances, which allows us to make digital simulations prior to treatments, allowing the patient to better understand his or her treatment plan and achieving more predictable and accurate results. Invisible orthodontics using alienators has proven its effectiveness and being barely perceptible by the family and social environment of patients, they allow us to treat many people who previously would not have considered it due to the discomfort and aesthetic limitations of conventional brackets.
Being part of the prevention of future functional problems in children, together with the patient’s satisfied face at the end of their orthodontic treatment, are the best motivations to continue providing health and esthetics through smile design.
